This tank is still young and isn't filled in at all. I'm still new to this so it probably won't compare to most tanks out there. The tank is about 4-5 months old, and it has only been aquascaped for about a month. I have been switching plants in and out regularly based on growth rates and how aesthetically pleasing a plant is.
Thanks for sharing your aquascape.
It looks like it has a lot potential, can't wait to see it with full growth.
I think maybe you should use the Sagittaria more as a mid-ground plant, and add some sort of foreground plant like gloss or hc.
Love the white sand, but I think you shouldn't have high plants near it. I think it looks more natural if there are only small rocks and grass-like plant near that white path (know what I mean?).
Thanks for the advice Ofri. I thought about using a shorter plant, but I really don't want to dabble in CO2 and fertilizers. That is why I chose a low tech maintenance for this set up. I am hoping that the plants might grow smaller in the area where the flourite meets the sand (they mix a bit). This will hopefully make them shorter and make the tank better looking. I actually put more black rocks in, so it makes a stronger impression.
Hey everyone!
I would just want to say that I'd like it if you could give me as much constructive criticism as you can.
Thanks
