The idea behind this tank was to make it easier to create depth in the aquarium by simply having the needed depth built in the construction. The original idea was formed by my own experience working with a 40 gallon cube tank and seeing a coral propogation salt water system. I thought it would be neat to take the typically square cube typically seen in coral propogation tanks and create a planted freshwater system. This makes it much easier to trim without having to rely solely on the trimming to create depth; trimming now is simply the "fine tuning" of the appearance.

Thank you for the kind words, Derek! I am hoping that it will look better once the UG has finished filling in, but the stuff takes forever to adapt and send out runners. Maybe it'll be improved in looks in about a month or two (UG depending)!
